Sometimes it can be hard to be kind to ourselves, but self positivity is critical in order to improve your mental health. When looking in the mirror, it is easy to see the bad, but I want to challenge you to look for the good.
Here are some tips for improving your self positivity and mental health:
1. Love yourself. Every time you look in the mirror, say one thing you like about yourself. This can be anything from your fashion sense to your hair color. Try to say something different each time.
2. Be grateful. Name all of the ways your body helps you live. For example, my legs help me play soccer, my stomach lets me try new foods, and my arms let me comfort others.
3. Accept compliments. Remember all of the good things people have said to you. Let the positive erase the negative.
