Mental health is something that should be prioritized but often is not. It’s important to take a step back when things get stressful and make sure you’re putting yourself first.
Setting aside time for activities that you enjoy is a great start, even if it’s hard to find free time within your schedule. Doing what you enjoy both takes your mind off of stress and increases motivation.
Developing healthy habits also is a huge step for improving mental health. Once you are able to sleep enough, eat enough, and exercise enough, you will start to feel so much better. Being physically healthy will allow you to be mentally healthy.
Again- you will only be able to develop these habits if you put yourself first, because your happiness should be your top priority!
