Balancing work and school is an essential part of your mental health. In the past, I have struggled with balancing work and school. I would overwhelm myself with a 30 hour work week while going to school full time. It is imperative that you’re always prioritizing school before work. First, start with working a few hours a week. If you think you can handle a couple hours a week, start incorporating that into your schedule. Finding a good balance takes some time, but when you find a good balance between the two you will get into a routine. Remember your mental health comes first, taking breaks from work is appropriate when your mental health is being affected.
